Any organization may experience unwanted situations that lead to chaos, a downturn, or even a crisis. Because of this, leaders who are not prepared for managing a crisis situation or are leading an organization in a turbulent organizational environment will have a negative impact on the organization. Thus, the purpose of this conference is to create the space for discuss.

BMAGIC is a platform for academic discussion event in which participants will share their research findings and gain new knowledge from local and international perspective in leadership in turbulent times.

Change management is an approach to transitioning individuals, teams, and organisations to a desired future state. The organisational change must be carried out to minimise employee resistance and cost to the organisation while simultaneously maximising the effectiveness of the change effort. The focus is on the broader impacts of change, especially on people and how they change from the current situation to the new situation as individuals and teams. To achieve its potential, it must implement change from as simple as the change process to the major change climate in policy and organisation strategy. A structured approach is a must in change management to ensure the changes are thoroughly and smoothly implemented and lasting benefits of change are achieved.
