VIRTUAL PRESENTATION PHASE I: BEFORE THE VIRTUAL PRESENTATION
  1. Identify the device to be used online  (laptop/desktop / mobile phone, etc.)
  2. Install ZOOM apps on the device.
  3. Ensure a good internet connection.
  4. Test BMAGiC virtual background on the screen.
  5. If you are using the green screen, please do not wear green attire on the day of the conference.
  6. Ensure your web camera is working.
  7. Managing own slides? Do inform the secretariat should you require any assistance to share the screen
  8. If you are using video as a part of your presentation, do inform our secretariat earlier. The conditions are as follows:
  • The video duration should not longer than 6 minute
  • Send your video before 2 weeks before the presentation day.
  • Sending your video as youtube link is also possible.
  • Technical Requirements Video Formats.
  • Resolution: 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.
  • Frame rate: 25 or 50 fps.
  • Bitrate: approximately 10,000 kb/s is enough.
  • Compression: H.264.
  • .mp4 files are preferred but we can handle most common video formats.
  • Do not send ProRes-files.

PHASE II: DURING THE VIRTUAL PRESENTATION
  1. You may want to use headphones or earphones for better audio.
  2. Please mute the microphone button when not using it.
  3. You are encouraged to turn on your video button throughout the conference.
  4. Be alert with messages (privately sent to you) in the chat box.
  5. When encounter a problem in terms of internet coverage, do inform our secretariat immediately (You may also leave ZOOM and try to access it again)
  6. Our technician is ready to screenshot photos during your presentation (for documentation purposes)
PHASE III: AFTER THE VIRTUAL PRESENTATION
  1. For keynote speakers and invited speakers, you may stay online and join the rest of the presentation or, you may leave ZOOM.
  2. For paper presenters, you are encouraged to stay online and join the rest of the presentations.
  3. Thank you for your presentation.
PHYSICAL  PRESENTATION
  1. The presentation length should follow the allocated presentation time and cannot be exceeded.
  2. As the schedule of presentation sessions is tight it is of utmost importance that all presenters are ready and in time for their presentations.
  3. The presentation file must be uploaded at the very latest 24 hours before your session starts.
